What a day.. I`m talking about the weather of course. The Brits like to talk about the weather Yes it`s sunny but it sure is windy again. My hanging baskets are taking some damage and it looks like I shall be replacing some more plants.
I hear Manchester United lost a big football match... do I care? I hear you say..NO...
See those little square pictures to the right?
They are links to even more of my pictures over at Flickr
It`s bread making day today. The house is going to smell wonderful.
Weather is a strange beast. We have had several wet / windy days and every day about this time... early evening it all goes quite and the sun comes out, just before it dissapears for the day.
At last... I do believe that summer is finaly here. Wonderful blue skies and it`s 32c in the conservatory.
But. It is reported it has been the driest spring on record for the last 100 years. That is scarry.
Have you noticed how many record breaking weather conditions we on this planet have suffered lately?
Earthquakes,floods, hurricanes,cyclones, mud slides etc:
The list goes on. At least we all survived the end of the world on May
Another hot one for us today. I`m betting it wont last and the weekend will be lousy.
I know this because I have seen the weather forcast...!
It` my blog, so I think I have the right to have a rant.
The mistake I made was ordering something from Hong Kong. Only valued at £18 and arrived ok but was faulty. The suppliers ask me to send it back to them via recorded air mail...to New York.. I have done that at a cost of £17 !
Go figure that.!!
Just had one the best burgers ever.
Not dropping any names but it about 30cm thick and cooked to perfection. With a plate full of salad I am most satisfied.
The rains came yesterday.
Rained for about 7 hours and very welcome it was for the garden and I know the farmers in these parts are very grateful for wharever they can get after a very dry month or two. Maybe the potatoes and other crops will be OK afterall.
Just heard via the TV weather man that it was the wettest day of the year yeaterday.
We semm to be having a lot of weather records broken lately.
Well.... what a scorcher of a day. From 15C to 30C in two days is a bit to much... phew
Weather warning for 21:00 to 23:59 today.
Up to two inches of rain and possible large hail.. Whats going on?
The storms. hail and rains never came. what a let down.
It could be because I top up my water butt from the garden hose, which normally makes it rain!
At least the temperature has dropped from the highs of 30C yesterday.
Been taking pictures since I cant remember when. I now have over 35,000 stored images that I love to view and share some with you.
